DiDi promo codes and vouchers in Australia
Enter a DiDi promo code in the app under Promotions and tap APPLY. The voucher then applies to your trip automatically. ddtaksi.com does not publish codes; use official offers only.
How official DiDi offers reach you
DiDi Australia gives riders discounts in three main ways:
- Promo codes that DiDi publishes in campaigns, emails or partner promotions. You type these in yourself.
- Vouchers that DiDi places straight into your account, visible under Promotions.
- Referral vouchers earned when a friend signs up with your link.
Every offer falls under DiDi's General Terms and Conditions for Rider Offers (in the app and in the Legal section) plus any conditions written on the voucher itself, such as expiry date, minimum fare, city or ride type.
This guide does not list codes. Codes posted on coupon sites are often expired or meant for a specific group, and only codes from DiDi or its partners are valid.
Redeeming a promo code
- Tap the sidebar menu at the top left of the home screen.
- Tap Promotions.
- Enter the code and tap APPLY.
- The voucher sits in your account and is applied to an eligible trip automatically.
You must have a payment method added before any code, voucher or reward can be redeemed. See payment.
When a voucher is missing or did not apply
- Turn on location services, then open Promotions, My vouchers to see whether it is there.
- Read the voucher's restrictions: it may not cover the ride type, city or time you chose.
- If you meet the conditions and it still did not apply, report it in the app. Routes are on contact support.
Referral vouchers
Registered riders can invite friends and family:
- Tap your profile picture at the top left of the home screen.
- Tap Invite Friends.
- Share your personal link (tap More for every option).
The friend gets a voucher for their first ride. Once they finish that ride, a voucher lands in your account. Use your own link so the referral is tracked. Referrals only count for riders who sign up and use DiDi in Australia, and the code only works for new users.
DiDi's rider page has promoted a $5 voucher for each side as a limited-time offer. The amount can change, so check the Invite Friends screen.
Velocity Points bonus
DiDi partners with Velocity Frequent Flyer. Rather than a discount, you earn points:

Eligible spend excludes GST, tolls, airport fees and other third-party charges, and any discount or promotion. Points can take up to 31 days to appear. Link from the top-left icon, then Velocity Points. Business riders can link a Virgin Australia Business Flyer account using the business ABN, and choose before each ride which account earns.
What can cancel an offer
The passenger terms include an Anti Fraud Policy, so creating extra accounts to reuse new-rider offers is a breach of the rules. Deleting your account also wipes unused vouchers. See account.
