DiDi referrals for drivers in Australia
Every approved DiDi driver gets a personal referral code, printed on referral cards in the Welcome Kit. Rewards for successful referrals appear under Referral Rewards in the earnings screen.
How driver referrals work
Once DiDi approves your registration, it posts a Welcome Kit to the address you gave. Alongside the DiDi vehicle stickers, the kit contains referral cards printed with your personal referral code. Allow 3 to 7 business days for it to arrive.
Hand the cards to people who might sign up through your code. When a referral qualifies under the current offer, the reward shows in the app under Referral Rewards.
Tracking your rewards
- Open the DiDi Driver app.
- Tap $ at the top right of the home screen.
- Choose Referral Rewards to see referral earnings, next to Balance and My Trips.
Your overall weekly payout is explained in earnings.
Current offers and amounts
DiDi does not publish a standing referral amount on its Australian website. Referral bonuses, like other driver rewards, are offers that change over time. To see what applies now:
- check Notifications on the home screen,
- look at the reward pages linked from the earnings page's Trip List,
- read the specific terms for the offer.
All driver offers sit under DiDi's General Terms and Conditions for Driver Offers, plus any program terms, in its Legal section. Requirements may include keeping a high Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate and Star Rating.
Running out of cards
Order more through the app: tap the top-left menu, then Help Centre, Help with a trip, Order DiDi Stickers, I Still Need Help, and fill in the form. The same route is used for new windscreen stickers.
Rider referrals are separate
Riders refer friends through Invite Friends in the DiDi Rider app. The friend gets a voucher for their first ride, and the referrer gets a voucher once that ride is complete. It only applies to new riders signing up and riding in Australia. See promo codes for how rider vouchers work.
Rules to respect
DiDi can withhold payments if it detects dishonest or fraudulent behaviour, including abusing its offers and rewards or holding duplicate accounts. Referring yourself, creating accounts for others, or trading codes for cash all put your earnings and account at risk under DiDi's Anti Fraud Policy.
Where to refer people
Point new drivers to the official sign-up and requirements so they know what to prepare: driver requirements and sign-up. Whether a referral earns a reward depends on the conditions of the offer running at the time.
